Principal's Message

Welcome to Clear Creek Elementary!  

My name is Kayla Amelon, and I'm the principal at Clear Creek Elementary School (CCE). I am thrilled to work with our students, staff, and families to create a nurturing environment focused on student growth and success. At CCE, we are dedicated to fostering an atmosphere that promotes the success of all PK-4 students. Our goal is to lay the foundation for lifelong learning and achievement.

Our Focus at CCE:

• School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS): Our approach is embedded within our motto of SAIL: Safe, Appropriate, Involved, Learners.

• Instructional Excellence: Our teaching practices are grounded in the Iowa Core State Standards with appropriate differentiation to meet the needs of every student.

• Fostering Positive Relationships: We prioritize building strong, supportive relationships and providing essential social-emotional support to our students.
